Putting Patients First

Maybe you're feeling down or anxious.

Constantly triggered into a fight, flight or freeze response.

Or just don't care!

Maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead.

Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support, and an ear to hear you and be present with you through the pain.

Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery

In my sessions, I use psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among clients, offering tools to cope and strategies that work.

Therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix.

Therapy is a healing process that takes a team-effort from therapist and client alike.

Making small changes to behaviors and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.

What does therapy look like?  Isn't it just telling you my problems??

Mental Health Therapy is more than just talking about your problems. It is a supportive and collaborative process that helps you gain a better understanding of yourself, process difficult emotions, and develop new coping strategies to bring about lasting change. Through this process, you will be able to gain insight, learn new skills, and create a plan for a healthier, happier life.

Typically, sessions last about 50 minutes long and usually we meet once a week for about 6-weeks, then discuss future sessions from there.  Sessions are catered to your needs, however, and we can stretch out therapy to once every two weeks or even monthly, if needed.

My approach is client-centered, meaning I meet you where you are, allowing you to share your story while we collaboratively map out your journey to recovery.

What I Help With:

I specialize in working with men and women who are struggling with:

  • Trauma and PTSD

My Approach:

In our first few sessions, you can expect to build a strong rapport, set achievable goals, and begin learning ways to increase your resiliency. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques and tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. Whether you’re navigating the aftermath of trauma, struggling with feelings of hopelessness, or overwhelmed by anxiety, my goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can make meaningful progress.

Why I Love This Work:

I’m passionate about the work I do because I get to witness the incredible moment when my clients begin to realize they’ve started to heal. The light-up of understanding in their eyes as they recognize progress and newfound resilience is what makes this work so rewarding for me.
